Marine Litter

MNE Logo

With the help of funding from Mayo North East LEADER and Bord Iascaigh Mhara our organisation has received training and purchased equipment to help us keep the River Moy and its Environs as free of litter as possible. We are very proud to perform this type of work for our community.

Mayo North East LEADER have funded us in four rounds for training and for capital expenditure (boats, kayaks, renovation of The Old Quay School) and Bord Iascaigh Mhara / North West FLAG have funded us in five rounds (for life jackets, dry suits, side scan sonar, marine accessories).
